Summary:
We are looking for a highly organised and professional Centre Administrator to join our team. This is a dynamic, varied role that sits at the centre of everything. From retailer relations and financial processing to marketing support and office coordination.
Primary Purpose of Role:
The Centre Administrator is responsible for supporting the general administration functions of a busy shopping centre, including reception, customer service, accounts processing, lease administration and stakeholder management.
You will be the first point of contact for tenants, customers and contractors while bringing a high level of professionalism, organisation and a genuine commitment to service to everything you do
Snapshot of your day:
Serve as the first point of contact for all telephone, reception and visitor enquiries, including greeting contractors and issuing keys and permits
Process accounts payable and receivable, including tenant payments, invoicing, banking and account reconciliations
Maintain centre registers including tenant and contractor listings, public liability insurance, bank guarantees and lost & found property
Support lease administration, ensuring rental reviews, tenant charges and documentation are accurate and up to date
Assist with debtor management, including contacting tenants regarding outstanding payments and issuing reminder correspondence
Provide marketing support, including in-centre campaigns, signage, newsletters and monthly sales reporting
Manage centre equipment hire, stationery supplies and office administration
Assist with incident reporting, risk registers and sustainability initiatives
Desired Skills and Experience
About you:
Prior experience in shopping centre, retail property or commercial administration
Strong accounts payable and receivable experience
High level of organisation, attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills — both written and verbal
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word
Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with operations, facilities and contractors
Proficient in MRI or similar property management software (desirable)
Honest, reliable and able to work with a high degree of autonomy
