Summary:
We are looking for a warm, professional and proactive individual to join our Auxus team as a Concierge / Workplace Services team member, based in Taree, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the welcoming face of a government workplace, delivering premium front-of-house and workplace support services that make a real difference to the people who work there every day.
Primary Purpose of Role:
The Concierge / Workplace Services team member is responsible for delivering a seamless, high-quality front-of-house and workplace experience for building occupants and visitors. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring every interaction reflects the premium service standard Auxus is known for.
This role combines traditional concierge hospitality with hands-on workplace services — from reception and visitor management through to meeting room coordination, mail handling, and general workplace support.
Snapshot of Your Day:
Welcoming visitors, tenants and staff with a warm and professional greeting
Managing reception, switchboard and front-of-house presentation
Coordinating meeting rooms, AV equipment and catering requirements
Processing incoming and outgoing mail, courier and deliveries
Maintaining communal areas, kitchens and breakout spaces to a high standard
Supporting workplace services tasks including stationery, supplies and minor facilities requests
Logging and escalating maintenance or safety issues as required
Building positive relationships with building occupants and becoming a trusted part of the workplace community
Desired Skills and Experience
About you:
Previous experience in concierge, reception, front-of-house, hospitality or customer service roles
Exceptional presentation and communication skills — you’re naturally warm and approachable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
Comfortable with technology — confident using Microsoft Office, booking systems and general workplace tools
Proactive and solutions-focused — you see what needs doing and get it done
A genuine passion for creating positive experiences for others
To be eligible for this role you will need to have full working rights in Australia, a valid police check, and a first aid certificate is preferable.
