Job Description

Exiting career development opportunity for an Assistant Security Manager available within Glad Group to help lead the Security Team at one of Sydney's most iconic retail buildings on the fringe of the CBD. 

You will: 

  • Demonstrate leadership and team-building skills
  • Assist in the leadership, coordination and direction of a team of security officers 
  • Provide a security service in line with the site SOPs and customer requirements
  • Be involved in and develop stakeholder relationship
  • Provide and assist with detailed reports on site's operations 
  • Monitor and use CCTV applications, Emergency Management and Fire Systems.
  • Demonstrate exceptional security service standards such as conflict resolution and incident reporting 
  • Conduct comprehensive patrols to ensure safety on site 
  • Conduct detailed security checks for risks and breaches 
  • Perform control room operations, including monitor CCTV  
  • Support loading dock operations

Desired Skills and Experience

About You: 

  • Valid State Security License (mandatory) 
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate (mandatory) 
  • Security leadership experience in Retail or Commercial environments 
  • Control room experience
  • Experience in customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including advanced use of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player 
  • Be well presented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of WHS
  • Ability to work Days 0630 - 1830 - Week 1 Sunday - Wednesday, Week 2 Sunday - Tuesday
