Job Description

Glad Group is proud to partner with University of Sydney to deliver high-quality campus security services. We are currently seeking motivated, professional PART TIME Protective Security Concierge Officers to join our growing campus Security team.  

Key Responsibilities

Based within the beautiful buildings and surrounds, you will work as a Protective Security Concierge 

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors
  • Conduct patrols within the campus facilities
  • Monitor access points and respond to incidents professionally and in line with procedures
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the university with professionalism
  • Write clear and accurate incident reports

We have the following P/T positions available (when you are applying, please indicate the role you are applying for based on the following hours) -

2 x positions - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays 0500 - 0900 & Saturdays 0500 - 1000 

2 x positions - Saturdays & Sundays 11:45 – 16:15 

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Valid NSW Security Licence (1A minimum)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional presentation and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • University or campus security experience is highly regarded but not essential
  • Available to start late January 2026
