Job Description

The Role

As the Head of Risk & Compliance, you will be a strategic leader driving risk management, workplace health and safety (WHS), governance, and compliance across Glad Group. This role combines hands-on engagement with strategic oversight, fostering a safety-first culture while ensuring customer and operational alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead risk management, governance, and compliance frameworks to meet regulatory and operational standards.
  • Champion WHS initiatives and foster a proactive safety culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their site-specific needs.
  • Mentor and guide teams across departments to embed best practices.
  • Represent Glad Group in Senior Leadership and Advisory Board meetings.

About You

You are an experienced risk and compliance professional with a proven ability to influence and inspire teams. Your practical approach and strategic expertise will help you thrive in a complex, multi-department environment.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in risk management, governance, WHS, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Australian WHS legislation and best practices.
  • Advanced qualifications in WHS, auditing, or an MBA (highly regarded).
