Job Description
The Role
As the Head of Risk & Compliance, you will be a strategic leader driving risk management, workplace health and safety (WHS), governance, and compliance across Glad Group. This role combines hands-on engagement with strategic oversight, fostering a safety-first culture while ensuring customer and operational alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead risk management, governance, and compliance frameworks to meet regulatory and operational standards.
Champion WHS initiatives and foster a proactive safety culture.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their site-specific needs.
Mentor and guide teams across departments to embed best practices.
Represent Glad Group in Senior Leadership and Advisory Board meetings.
About You
You are an experienced risk and compliance professional with a proven ability to influence and inspire teams. Your practical approach and strategic expertise will help you thrive in a complex, multi-department environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
Extensive experience in risk management, governance, WHS, and compliance.
Familiarity with Australian WHS legislation and best practices.
Advanced qualifications in WHS, auditing, or an MBA (highly regarded).
